Privacy Policy

Gold Standard Group operates the Ani-Me mobile application, which lets you transform photos into AI-generated videos. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Ani-Me, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using Ani-Me, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application.

2.1 Account Information You Provide

When you create an Ani-Me account, we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Date of birth

This information is used solely for account functionality and to verify that you meet our minimum age requirement of 13 years. Age verification operates on an honor system — we do not perform identity verification or cross-reference your details against any external identity source. None of the information you provide is linked to a verified real-world identity.

2.2 Content You Upload

• Photos you submit for AI video generation.
• Text prompts describing the video content you want created.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• App usage events (screens viewed, features used, session duration).
• Device identifiers and operating system version.
• IP address and approximate geographic region.
• Crash reports and diagnostic data.

Usage analytics are collected in aggregate and are not linked to your name or email address. We do not track or profile you individually by name or email.

2.4 Subscription and Payment Information

All purchases and subscription billing are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We do store your subscription status (active, inactive, tier level) for the purposes of feature access, account management, and internal audit and reporting.

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify that users meet the minimum age requirement of 13 years (honor system).
• Authenticate your account and maintain your session.
• Process your photo-to-video generation requests and deliver results to your device.
• Manage your subscription status and enforce feature access tiers.
• Maintain subscription records for internal audit and reporting purposes.
• Respond to your support requests and communications.
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and safety violations.
• Send necessary service communications (account activity, policy updates).
• Send marketing communications only if you have opted in (see Section 7).
• Improve our products through aggregated, non-personally-identifiable usage analytics.

4.1 Your Photos

You retain full ownership of the photos you upload to Ani-Me. Ani-Me does not claim any ownership rights over your original images. Photos are used solely to generate the video you requested and are not used for any other purpose, including AI model training.

4.2 Generated Videos

Videos created through Ani-Me are owned by Gold Standard Group. However, upon generation, GSG immediately grants you a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, download (Pro membership and above), distribute, publish, and monetize your generated videos for any lawful purpose. This license survives any termination of your account with respect to content you have already downloaded or exported.

4.3 Storage and System Purge

Images you upload and videos generated for your account are stored on our servers for a period of 3 to 6 months, after which they are permanently deleted as part of a scheduled system-wide purge. The exact retention window within this range depends on server capacity and purge scheduling.

We do not guarantee indefinite storage of your content. You are responsible for downloading and backing up any content you wish to keep beyond the retention window.

4.4 User-Initiated Deletion

You may delete any of your images or videos at any time from within the Ani-Me application. Deletions are processed immediately and the content is permanently removed from our servers. Deleted content cannot be recovered.

5.1 Who Can Share Outside the App

Only users with a Pro membership or higher may download videos and share them to platforms outside of Ani-Me. Free and standard tier accounts may share content within the app only.

5.2 How Shares Work

When a video is shared, the share link directs viewers to the Ani-Me application to watch the content. Shares serve as a discovery mechanism to introduce new users to the app. Your personal account information — including your name and email — is never included in or attached to a shared link.

5.3 Following Other Users

Ani-Me allows users to follow other creators. Following is a one-way public action; your follower and following counts are visible within the app. There is no direct or private messaging between users. Ani-Me does not facilitate any form of user-to-user private communication.

GSG reviews content that is flagged by users or our automated systems. Content determined to be offensive, harmful, or in violation of our community guidelines or terms of service is removed. Moderation decisions are made at GSG's sole discretion.

Flagged content may be reviewed by GSG staff. By using Ani-Me, you acknowledge that content you generate or share may be reviewed for compliance purposes.

We do not send marketing emails by default. You must actively opt in to receive promotional communications from Gold Standard Group. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time from within your account settings in the app.

Ani-Me does not use third-party marketing platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers. All communications are sent directly from Gold Standard Group. We do not share your contact information with any external marketing or advertising party.

Regardless of your marketing preferences, you will continue to receive necessary service-related communications such as account notices, policy updates, and security alerts.

• We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
• We do not track or link your name or email address to usage analytics or behavioral data.
• We do not use your photos, videos, or prompts to train AI models for purposes other than generating your requested content.
• We do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers.
• We do not conduct identity verification or verify that account information corresponds to a real person.

We work with a limited set of third-party service providers to operate Ani-Me:

• AI model providers: Process your photo and prompt inputs to generate video outputs.
• Cloud storage and delivery: Store and deliver your generated content.
• Apple App Store: Handles all subscription billing and purchase processing.
• Analytics (PostHog, Google Analytics 4): Collect aggregated, non-personally-identifiable usage data to help us improve the app.

All service providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it for the specific purpose for which it was shared. We do not permit service providers to use your data for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

• Account data (name, email, phone, date of birth): Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
• Uploaded photos and generated videos: Stored for 3 to 6 months, then permanently deleted via system-wide purge, or sooner upon user request.
• Subscription records: Retained for internal audit and reporting purposes as required by our financial and operational obligations.
• Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized; not linked to individual accounts.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate account data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Delete specific images or videos at any time from within the app.
• Opt out of marketing emails from within your account settings.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

Ani-Me is not directed to children under the age of 13. Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Age eligibility is verified on an honor system using the date of birth provided during registration; we do not perform formal identity or age verification.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete that account and its associated data promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of Ani-Me after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
